Men’s Black Titanium Rings

Men’s Black Titanium Rings

It wasn’t so long ago that jewellery was only worn by women and for men to wear a ring was thought of as effeminate and “girly“. But now as society as a whole becomes more accustomed to the more fashion conscious individuals more and more men are buying rings and jewellery.

Rings and jewellery are now seen as signs of status amongst men, as they have long been with women, with celebrities and musicians spending an inordinate amount of money on their own jewellery.

As far as manly jewellery goes titanium has to be the king. Titanium is the strongest naturally occurring metal, which of course makes it ideal for making men’s rings. Not only is titanium extremely durable, scratch and corrosion resistant it is also very lightweight with a comfortable fit.

This blend of durability and comfort makes titanium rings very popular among men today who are looking for a stylish ring that can also be worn to work and endure the rigors of everyday life.

There are also lots of different styles and designs for you to choose from ranging from the minimalistic to the extravagant. A recent trend and now popular choice is to have a ring made from black titanium this is the same as standard titanium in every way except for it’s rich and dark shade of black giving it a rugged appearance.

A black titanium ring shows some individuality and can be anything from a plain dome shaped band, often a favourite as a wedding band for men about to get married, all the way up to diamond studded rings or even black titanium rings with gold or silver inlays.

I believe the reason black titanium rings have become so popular is because they offer a stylish alternative to the standard grey titanium rings and also are not too in your face and shiny like the more traditional gold and silver rings worn by most people.

One last thing you should bear in mind when choosing your black titanium ring is to ask about the method used to colour the titanium used in your ring. There are two methods, one which is a coating (a very strong coating but still not recommended) that tends to have less durability than the second method, which involves the titanium being combined with an alloy to give a black colour throughout and provide you with a ring that really will last a lifetime.
